What is the DJ Request Event Photo Wall?

It is a live, moderated photo display for events. Guests upload photos from the same QR request page they use for songs, the host approves each photo from the DJ dashboard, and approved photos rotate full-screen on any TV, projector, or laptop that opens the wall URL.

Do guests need an app to upload photos?

No. Guests scan the event QR code, open the request page in their phone browser, pick a photo, and add an optional caption and hashtags. There is no account or download.

Do photos appear on the wall automatically?

By default, no. Every upload waits as pending until the host approves it. Hosts can turn on auto-approve in event settings for a trusted crowd, and can hide or delete any photo at any time.

Which plans include the Photo Wall?

Pro Pass ($10 per event) and Max Pass ($20 per month) include the Photo Wall. It is not part of the free Standard plan. New accounts get a 30-day trial of the Photo Wall, limited to 10 guest photos per day.

How long are guest photos kept?

Photos on the live wall are kept for 30 days after upload. If you create a shared event album, the album and its photos stay available for 90 days and are then deleted automatically.

How the Photo Wall works

The wall is designed so a working DJ can run it between transitions. Guests do the uploading, the dashboard does the queueing, and you only decide what is shown.

Turn on the Photo Wall
Photo Wall is enabled on your event while a Pro Pass, Max Pass, or the trial is active. In event settings you can also turn on auto-approve.

Open the wall on a screen
Load your event's wall URL on the venue TV, projector, or a spare laptop and press F for full-screen. The wall shows your DJ name, event title, and a scan-to-join QR code.

Guests upload
Guests scan the QR code, tap the photo option on the request page, choose a photo, and add a caption (up to 120 characters) with up to 5 hashtags.

You approve
New photos appear as pending in the dashboard. Approve, reject, or delete each one. Only approved photos ever reach the screen.

The wall updates live
Approved photos join the spotlight rotation (a new photo every 14 seconds) and the ambient tiles. Captions and trending hashtags show with each photo.

What the Photo Wall includes

Moderation first

Pending by default, one-tap approve or reject, and a hide/delete action for anything that slips through. Auto-approve is optional and per event.

Any screen with a browser

Works on a TV browser, projector laptop, or tablet. Choose horizontal or vertical orientation to match the screen.

QR code on the wall

The wall shows the event's scan-to-join QR code so more guests find the request page and the photo upload without asking.

Monogram or logo

Upload a monogram image and show it as a watermark or beside the QR code. Useful for a couple's initials or a venue logo.

Phone-friendly uploads

JPEG, PNG, WebP photos are accepted. Images are compressed on the phone and resized on the server to at most 2000px on the long edge so uploads finish quickly on venue Wi-Fi.

Shared album after the event

Create an album of the approved photos and share a link plus access code. Guests or the client download the photos as a ZIP for 90 days.

Where hosts use it

Wedding receptions

Guests' candid photos rotate on the reception screen with the couple's monogram, and the album goes to the couple afterward.

Bars and venues

A recurring Photo Wall on Max Pass gives regulars a reason to scan the QR code every week.

Corporate and private parties

Moderation keeps the display appropriate for a mixed audience, and the ZIP album replaces chasing photos afterward.

School and community events

Approval-first moderation means nothing reaches the screen without an adult reviewing it.

Limits worth knowing before the event

Pro Pass activates a 24-hour window for one event. Max Pass keeps the wall available while the subscription is active.
During the 30-day trial, guests can upload up to 10 photos per day.
Live-wall photos are deleted 30 days after upload; albums are deleted after 90 days. Download the ZIP before then.
The wall needs a browser with an internet connection. It does not run offline or from a USB stick.
There is no automatic content filter. Approval by the host is the moderation step, so leave auto-approve off for crowds you do not know.
Albums are downloaded as a ZIP with an access code; there is no public in-browser gallery.
